NOVEMBER

Saturday 29th October - Saturday 5th tbc
John Lowry
Towards the Abstract. Abstract painting follows the same rules and concepts as realistic painting but relies on the imagination rather than the simple copying of what is there. We study the tools of the abstraction and the approaches of successful abstract artistsand we adopt those we favour into our own practice to produce startling images lying somewhere between the realistic and the abstract. John favours Pastel for abstract work because it is infinitely flexible - but the course applies equally to other media

Saturday 6th - Saturday 13th
David Napp
