Landscapes with impact. Taking our inspiration from the surrounding Constable Country we will explore the key elements that can turn an ordinary landscape painting into a dynamic work with impact. We will practice various techniques for painting realistic skies, water and trees along with drawing and understanding composition which will underpin this course. We will also explore different colour palettes to create atmospheric settings of this landscape that have inspired Constable and modern artists alike.
