This characterful country hotel is open to both participating artists and visiting residents and set within the tranquil setting of Essex countryside. All bedrooms have en-suite bath and shower rooms as well as private access to the residents lounge, dining room and bar. This 15th Century adjoining cottage overlooks the picturesque grounds assuring guests a peaceful visit. (But if you do sometimes need to keep in touch with the 21st Century, there is free wifi in all the public rooms).

Weekly Courses
Residential course members
Prices include Bed, Breakfast and Dinner each evening (including Wednesday) and a Buffet Lunch on Sunday. Your only extras will be drinks in the bar or at your table, and packed lunches if required.
Non residential course members
We welcome you to Tea on the first day of the course at 4.00pm and to the Bar Lunch served on Sundays at 12.30. If you wish to stay to Dinner on any evening the cost is £25.00. Please let us know during the morning of the day.
Three and Four night courses
Residential
Either start with Tea at 4.00 pm or lunch at 12.30 depending on the course and are inclusive of all meals during your stay. There are lectures or demonstrations after Dinner each evening. The course either ends with Tea at 4.00pm or after breakfast on the final day.
Non residential
Either start with Tea at 4.00pm or lunch at 12.30 depending on the course.
Lunch is provided each day for non-residential members of the course.
